stART ~ Little Blue and Little Yellow

I have been working with Lucas on learning his colors, so I picked out Little Blue and Little Yellow for our stART project. Its such a cute little story!
Little Blue and Little Yellow

For our art project I gave Lucas blue and yellow paint together on a plate for him to mix and paint.

I had originally planned on having Lucas finger paint, but it has been awhile since we last used paint and he wasn’t very interested in getting his hands dirty.

  4. It's a great book, and my girls don't like finger painting either. :)

  5. I avoid finger painting usually, but saw a great post of finger painting in the bathtub. We are going to try it.

  6. We like this book too, and the pictures are very cute. My daughter is 4 now, but her every paint project inevitably turns into a color mixing experiment.

  7. We love this book! Fingerpainting is a hit with my 2 year old, but my older two have never wanted their hands dirty either:-).
